JUSTGOFUNDURSELF IS A UNIQUE WAY TO RAISE PERSONAL FUNDS
You are a magician, singer, dog trainer, or tap-dancing trio. You could fit right in with America’s Got Talent. But you need money to buy costumes, makeup, equipment and take lessons. You know, all the items that make your act so magical but costs money!
JustGoFundUrself (JGFU) is an ideal platform and event that helps you leverage your local fan base to raise some bucks.
JustGoFundUrself is a performing arts show. It allows performing artists of any variety to participate in competitive variety style show where entrants compete for a cash prizes.
PERFORMING ARTISTS can compete against one another for the Winning Title and Bragging Rights. Each ARTIST also generates cash SPONSORSHIPS and event ticket sales and pledge$ made to the ARTISTS from individual SUPPORTERS. Supporters can be friends, co-workers, or social media fan base and more.
Performing Act can be made up of an individual or groups. Anyone, over 18, with a following, email list, social media fans or even just starting out trying to give their careers a financial boost can participate. Unlike the Karaoke-A-Thone, Performing Acts are not raising money for charity. They are raising money for THEMSELVES.
Each Performing Act will be judged on their talent.
JGFU is the perfect antidote to boring, digital crowdsourcing campaigns such as GoFundMe, Kickstarter or Indie-Go-Go. Raising money this “old school,” way allows fans to see your act live and in person. Not just imagine it. Your fans and supporters are craving an event that gets them away from the computer. They want to EXPERIENCE your art.
Make 5x the MONEY you would crowdfunding online. 5x the money will set you up to do a solo show or get more training or help you in the next step in your performing journey.
It works like this:
PERFORMING ARTIST ACTS sell tickets to the JGFU event and can also get pledges from >
SUPPORTERS can pledge anywhere from $1 to $100 per team and another $1 to $100 if the PERFORMING ACT WINS the competition >
PERFORMER(S) receives all the pledges, sponsorship and a portion of the ticket sales.
Kacey’s Karaoke and Photobooth will organize the JGFU competition. We act as the PRODUCER and handle all the venue and music logistics.
Our experienced MC will host the event ensuring that everyone has a good time. In the end there will be very little out-of-pocket expenses for you. As the experts, we focus on the details and allow you to focus on your performance craft.
